Dr. Roman Chychyla is an assistant professor in the Department of Accounting at the Miami Herbert Business School. His research examines the determinants and consequences of firms’ choices related to format, presentation, and non-numeric content of firms’ communications with stakeholders as well as the use of technology in accounting. Dr. Chychyla's work has been published in leading accounting and information systems academic journals including The Accounting Review (TAR), Journal of Accounting and Economics (JAE), and Journal of Information Systems (JIS).

Dr. ALLES, Michael

Dr. Michael Alles is a professor at the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at Rutgers Business School. Prior to Rutgers, he taught at the University of Texas at Austin, New York University and Southern Methodist University. His specialties are the design of strategic control systems, continuous auditing, management accounting and corporate governance. He is widely published in all these areas. Dr. Alles holds a PhD from Stanford Business School and a First Class Honors in Economics from the Australian National University. He has served on the executive committee of the Management Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association, was co-chair of the 2004 mid-year Management Accounting Research Symposium and has helped organize numerous other conferences around the world on corporate governance and continuous auditing. He was the editor of the International Journal of Disclosure & Governance, published by Palgrave Macmillan in London.

Dr. Tawei (David) Wang is currently an associate professor, associate dean for operational effectiveness and a Driehaus Fellow at the Driehaus College of Business of DePaul University. Dr. Wang serves as the editor of the Journal of Information Systems as well as the incoming president of the AAA AIS Section. He was a panelist for the Federal Reserve Bank Charlotte and was the 2018 KPMG Professor in Residence. He has received several research awards and his articles have been downloaded more than 40,000 times through the Science Direct network. Dr. Wang’s research interests include information security management and IT management. His papers have appeared in several leading journals, including Information Systems Research, Accounting Horizons, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Information and Management, Information Systems Journal, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Information Systems, among others.
